As the name suggests these pots come with distinct textures on the surfaces. These are achieved through a process of stretching the damp clay pot on the potter's wheel and others are achieved by layered  glazing. The process is slow and  labour-intensive but the final dramatic  outcome is certainly worth it! These pots make striking visual pieces.
